New Tourney! New Prizes! New Locale!

Congrats to evetybody who showed up to the Royal Rumble on the 15th; it so happened that everyone walked away with at least one new card.

And it's official: On Saturday, May 6, the next Anachronism tournament will take place at the all-new Gamer's Lounge, on the corner of Wooster and S. College. This will be another two-parter.

The first, starting at 5:30, will be the Warm-Up: 1-warrior Culture Shock, multiplayer.
The second (unrelated) event, at 6:30, will be the Main Event: 3-warrior Unrestricted, head-to-head.
Both will use Swiss-style pairings, and the Main Event will have a finals round.

All participants should be receiving the Norse sword, Naegling. The winners will walk away with the warrior Godfrey of Boullion, the French knight of the Crusades!

April 15th!

Ladies and gentlemen of the Arena, after the breath-taking success of the last tourney, we have another one hot on its heals: Saturday, April 15th, 5:30-9:00, at 2-Play.

It's a two-parter: First part is a basic 3-warrior tournament. Swiss-style, just like last week, except there are no stable restrictions. Use any and all cultures. The player with the most points will win a Baba Yaga card.

Second part is the Royal Rumble / Fatal Four-way. There will be a series of 4-way single matches. Anyone surviving will continue onto the next match. Support cards will reset, but Life will not! Each match, players will be randomly selected (though the standings in the First Part will affect who's in the first match). The last warrior standing wins the Sagaris card, while the warrior with the most kills will win a Baba Yaga.

Oh, and if that isn't enough motivation to attack... Any match that ends with more than 2 survivors is considered null. All survivors are considered defeated, and four new ones enter the Arena. Mua-ha-ha!
